Heathrow β Gatwick Transfer
with Free Child Seats
Travelling Heathrow to Gatwick with little ones? Free, correctly-fitted infant and child seats on every journey.
Can I get a Heathrow to Gatwick transfer with a baby or child seat, and is it free?
Yes β ULA World provides free infant, child and booster car seats on every Heathrow to Gatwick transfer, for newborns up to age 12. UK law exempts licensed taxis and private hire vehicles from the child-seat requirement, but we fit the correct, UK-approved baby seat anyway β installed by your DBS-checked driver. Just request the infant or child seat when booking so it's ready before you set off.
Heathrow to Gatwick transfers, sized for the family
Connecting between Heathrow and Gatwick with children is one of the trickiest legs of any trip β two of the UK's busiest airports on opposite sides of London, often with a tight window between flights. The last thing a parent needs is to discover the taxi has no infant seat.
Our Heathrow to Gatwick transfer comes with the correct baby, child or booster seat already fitted, so your little ones are secure for the whole cross-London run. The driver tracks your inbound flight, meets you inside arrivals, and helps with the luggage β and there's room for the whole family and the cases in one fixed-price vehicle.
Whether you need a rear-facing infant carrier for a newborn or a booster for an older child, just tell us their age and weight when booking and the right child seat is ready and waiting β at no extra charge.

UK law: child seats in taxis
The general rule
Children must normally use a child car seat until they are 12 years old or 135 cm tall, whichever comes first.
The taxi exemption
Licensed taxis and private hire vehicles are exempt. Without a seat, a child may travel only on a rear seat: ages 3+ wear an adult belt; under-3s unrestrained in the rear.
How we help
We fit the correct, UK-approved infant or child seat free β just tell us your child's age and weight when you book.
