Why pre-book a 4 AM Heathrow pickup
Public transport is hours away from running. On-demand apps cancel. A pre-booked private transfer is the only thing you can rely on.
Tube + Heathrow Express not running yet
Heathrow Express first train ~05:10; Tube first trains ~05:30 weekdays. For any flight before 08:00 they're impractical even if you catch the first service.
On-demand apps cancel at 4 AM
Driver pool is thin pre-dawn. Cancellations are common when no nearby driver wants the early run. A pre-booked driver is allocated weeks ago and has set an alarm.
Hotel shuttles are infrequent at this hour
Most Heathrow-area hotel shuttles run from 05:00 onwards. If your flight's at 06:00, that's too late.
Fixed price, no early-morning surcharge
Same £65 saloon as any other time of day. No "antisocial hours" fee, no surge — Stripe takes the same amount whether your pickup is 09:00 or 03:30.

FAQ
Do you do pre-dawn Heathrow drop-offs?+
Yes — 24/7 service. Pickups any time from midnight onwards are at the same fixed price as a daytime ride. For a 06:00 flight from Heathrow, a typical pickup from central London hotels is 03:30–04:00; from outer London 04:30–05:00. We confirm exact times by area at booking.
When does the Heathrow Express / Tube start running?+
Heathrow Express first train ~05:10 from Paddington; Piccadilly Line first trains around 05:30 weekdays, slightly later weekends. For any flight earlier than ~08:00 from Heathrow, public transport is impractical — you'd be relying on the very first train of the day with no margin for delays.
Will a black cab pick me up at 4 AM?+
Sometimes — and sometimes not. Black cab availability in residential London at 04:00 is unreliable; on-demand ride-hail apps have thin coverage and frequent cancellations at that hour. A pre-booked private transfer is allocated in advance — the driver knows the pickup at booking, sets an alarm, and is at your door on time.
How much does an early-morning Heathrow pickup cost?+
Same as a daytime fare. Central London → Heathrow is from £65 saloon. No early-morning surcharge, no antisocial-hours fee, no surge. The price quoted at booking is the price paid.
How early should I book?+
At least 4 hours ahead for guaranteed allocation. For peak departure days (Friday + Saturday mornings, Christmas Eve, the start of school holidays) book 1–2 weeks ahead — the early-morning driver pool fills up fast.
What if the driver doesn't arrive?+
Doesn't happen with a pre-booked allocation — the driver is dispatched the evening before and confirms readiness. If something does go wrong (very rare) our 24/7 dispatch reassigns immediately. We track every booking; you get a driver-tracking link 30 minutes before pickup so you can see them en route.
Can I add a hotel pickup buffer for slow check-out?+
Yes — the driver arrives at the booked pickup time and waits up to 15 minutes free of charge while you check out. For a 06:00 Heathrow flight from a central London hotel, we recommend booking pickup at 04:00 — gives buffer for check-out, traffic, and Heathrow drop / terminal walk.
Do you operate from outer London / the Home Counties to Heathrow at this hour?+
Yes — Surrey, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, Kent and Essex pickups are standard. Adjust pickup time for the longer drive — we factor it in at booking based on your postcode.
Sleep well — driver's already booked
