What happens if my flight is delayed?+
Free flight tracking — we monitor your flight live from departure to arrival. The driver pickup time auto-adjusts to the actual landing time. No late-arrival charge, no missed-pickup fee, no need to call us. You'll find your driver inside the arrivals hall with a name board, regardless of how late your flight runs.
What is the free waiting time at the airport?+
Driver waits up to 60 minutes after the actual landing time for free — covering Border Control, baggage carousel and arrivals hall. After 60 minutes, a small per-15-minute wait fee applies (clearly disclosed at booking). For severely delayed long-haul arrivals we routinely waive that fee.
What if my flight is diverted to a different airport?+
Tell us as soon as you know — call our 24/7 dispatch on the booking confirmation number. We re-route the driver to the diversion airport (often Stansted, Luton or East Midlands instead of Heathrow). The original journey continues; only the small additional mileage to/from the diversion is recharged at the published rate.
What if my flight is cancelled?+
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the booked pickup time. Inside 24 hours, the published cancellation policy applies — typically a partial refund minus a small administrative fee. For airline-cancelled flights with proof, we waive the fee.
How does the flight tracking work? Do I need to do anything?+
Tell us the flight number at booking — that's it. Our system polls the FlightAPI.io live feed every 15 minutes from 24 hours before scheduled landing. The driver receives an updated arrival time automatically and adjusts the dispatch slot. No phone call from you needed.
What if Border Control queues are unusually long?+
Border Control is part of the 60-minute free wait. We see this often for non-EU arrivals to Heathrow at peak times — driver knows it's coming and isn't surprised. For especially severe queues (90+ minutes), call dispatch and we extend the wait at no charge for the documented delay.
Do you charge a "missed pickup" fee?+
No — there is no missed-pickup fee when the cause is a delayed flight, customs queue, or airline issue. The free flight tracking exists specifically so you don't worry about that.
What if I land much earlier than scheduled?+
Same flight tracking covers early landings — the driver moves the pickup forward to match your actual landing. They'll still meet you inside arrivals with a name board, just earlier than originally planned.
